The Tomb and Khanqa of Khawand Tughay was built in Cairo, Egypt in 1348 by Khawand Tughay, also known as Umm Anuk. It is located at the Northern Cemetery, in the City of the Dead, to the north of the Citadel of Saladin. It is a distinguished Mamluk monument not only for its architectural qualities, but also for having a woman as a patron.
